It has been ascertained that the Bridleway adjoining Edlesborough Church was included in the Inclosure Award and enquiries are being made of Buckinghamshire County Council regarding exact ownership of the Ivinghoe Aston to Edlesborough bridleway.

A reply from Buckinghamshire County Council was received explaining the reason for the problems with the School buses and this is being monitored.

The Council were concerned that development has commenced at Kircutt, Chapel Lane, Northall prior to it receiving notice of planning permission and enquiries have been made as to the present position.

Dog Fouling continues to be a problem particularly in Edlesborough despite numerous dog bins being positioned around various locations. The Council has agreed to purchase an additional Dog Bin at a cost of £220.00 to be placed near the top of the High Street in Edlesborough as dog fouling is causing problems with children using the ‘crocodile’ walk to Edlesborough School. It costs the Parish Council £2.22 to have each dog bin emptied and this is carried out twice a week during summer months and once a week during the winter months. Dog owners are requested to please tidy up after their dogs and use the Dog Bins that are provided as it causes a Health & Safety hazard to other members of the public.

The problem with non-drainage of water at the junction of Eaton Bray Road, Northall and the A4146 has again been reported requesting that further works are undertaken to remedy the problem.

Funding has been granted towards the cost of replacing the goal posts on Edlesborough Green and Dagnall Recreation Field and new goal posts will be available shortly.

The Parish Council intend to repeat during Easter and Summer holidays in 2008 the Childrens’ events which took place during the Summer holidays. It is hoped that the events will take place in Edlesborough, Dagnall and Northall.

Allotments rents were collected during the weekend of 20th/21st October. Several allotment holders have given up their tenancies. If any parishioner wishes to take on an allotment please inform the Clerk and you name will be added to the waiting list.
