Councillor for Dagnall Ward

Due to the resignation of Cllr Tim Jones the Parish Council would like to hear from anyone in Dagnall who would care to take a more active role as a member of Edlesborough Parish Council to represent Dagnall Ward. Please contact the Clerk.

Pot Holes

At a recent meeting held with Bucks CC it was confirmed that repairs to potholes are it's major priority first dealing with A and B roads then others that have been reported, the parish are asked to be patient they will reach us in due course.

Water Leak, A4146 Leighton Road, Northall

Further, as yet unsolved, problems have still been occurring with water on the A4146 Leighton Road, through Northall with several serious accidents having occurred during the icy weather conditions. Bucks CC are continuing to investigate the cause which is due to block drainage and appropriate warning signage is being displayed until this matter is rectified which unfortunately could take some time. The Parish Council and local residents are continually in touch with Bucks CC stressing the urgency and requesting updates to get this matter resolved.

Play Around the Parishes

will be returning to Edlesborough Memorial Hall on the afternoon of 14th April. Notices when received will be placed on the Parish notice boards.

Village Freighter

Advanced warning that the Freighter will be around the Parish in April, at the moment no dates are available but notices will in due course be put on the village notice boards.

Edlesborough Memorial Hall

An additional 'check list' form will in future be handed out to hirers of the Hall to ensure that the hall is left in a clean and tidy condition when vacating the premises.

A new soak away is being installed at the rear of the Hall due to continual flooding problems.

Quotations are being sought for the redecorating of the main hall and for the replacing of boilers.

Memorial Hall & Pavilion Car Parks

Parishioners are requested to respond to the separate article in this issue of 'Focus' regarding installation of lockable gates/barriers.

Speed Limit Review - Area 13

It is anticipated that the Consultation will take place towards the end or March 2010.

Brook Street parking

Funding will be considered for an extension to the existing lay-by to prevent motorists from parking on the grass verge.
