Thames Valley Police are requesting dog owners to sign up for 'Dogwatch'. This scheme is on trial in Wingrave and if successful will be taken across the Wing South area. Dog owners can register their details and those of their dog and they are then issued with a card. The card will give instructions on what to look out for when walking your dog. e.g. persons or vehicles acting suspiciously, fly tippers, hare coursers or those not clearing up their dog's mess, and who to contact in each situation. If any dog owners feel they would be prepared and willing to sign up for 'Dogwatch' please contact the Clerk in order that should Edlesborough Parish Council be requested to form a 'Dogwatch' scheme it would be able to ascertain whether such a scheme would be beneficial to the parish as a whole.

Improvements will include the addition of one extra parking bay coupled with one disabled parking space, marking out of parking bays and the formation of a new entrance onto the High Street. In due course it is anticipated that funding can be made available to increase the amount of parking spaces as a means of reducing the amount of parked vehicles particularly on the High Street and Pebblemoor.

A fatal accident occurred in Northall on 1st March. It is hoped that when the 40mph speed limit is reduced through this village to 30mph later this year that motorists will take heed of the new speed limit signs.
