Vacancies for Parish Councillors

Currently Edlesborough Parish Council is concerned that it has no representation from Dagnall Ward and would request that if there is anyone who has the future of Dagnall and the parish at heart and would be willing to stand as a Councillor would they please contact the Clerk, details below.

Precept

Due to the economic climate Edlesborough Parish Council request for the 2011/12 precept is to remain as 2010/11, namely £64,000.00.

Dog Fouling

It has again been reported to the Clerk that dog fouling is still being allowed to continue on the Green and around the Pavilion despite previous requests for dog owners to clear up after their dogs. The Parish Council would remind dog owners that if their dog is caught fouling, and this is not picked up. the owner may be caught by a camera the evidence of which could lead to prosecution.

The Parish Council are considering quotations received for CCTV to be installed.

Dagnall Main Road South Streetlight

At long last Tesco have now admitted that the damage to the streetlight was caused by one of their drivers. Quotations for the repair of this streetlight have now been sent to Tesco Insurance Company and it is hoped that a replacement light will be installed in due course.

Speed Camera, Church End, Edlesborough

An apology has been received from Bucks County Council for not informing the Parish Council regarding the removal of the Speed Camera. The camera will remain for a further period of time for monitoring.

Land Registry Title to Edlesborough Cemetery

A revised official plan has now been received which the Parish Council has accepted.

Traffic Calming

Speed enforcements have been carried out by Thames Valley Police in Northall with more to follow throughout the parish.

Affordable Housing

The Parish Council urge everyone in the parish who receive the questionnaire with the February issue of Focus to return this in the freepost envelope provided to Community Impact Bucks, feedback is important to the future of your parish.
