Car Parks

The Parish Council has received some letters of objection regarding the proposed extension to the Memorial Hall car park The various views and comments will be taken into consideration in detailing the final proposals. At this stage, the council will consult with all Parishioners and a decision will only then be made on whether to proceed or not.

Cemetery

The gate and signs have been installed at the Bridleway entrance to the Cemetery. Despite notices requesting ‘NO PARKING Access required at all times’ vehicles are continuing to park across the bridleway entrance and the Council would emphasise the fact that the bridleway must be kept clear for access to be available to not only the owner of the bridleway but also farmers and funeral cars.

Allotments

Rents are to be collected for Edlesborough and Northall on Saturday 8th October 9.30-12 noon. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS YEAR IT WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE PAVILION (not the Memorial Hall). The Dagnall rents will be collected at the Garden Hut on Sunday 9th October 10.-12 noon. Several allotments appear not to have been cultivated and letters have been sent to the owners. Until the rents have been collected it is uncertain whether any allotment plots will be available for re-letting but names can be taken to be put on the waiting list if anyone wishes to have an allotment. Priority for letting allotments goes to parishioners prior to others from neighbouring areas.

The Parish Council wish to remind parishioners that all General Purpose Committee Meeting and Parish Council Meeting minutes are available on the parish website www.edlesborough.gov.uk after they have been approved and signed at the following meeting.
