Village Freighter Refuse - November Collection

The Village Freighter will be returning to the Parish villages as follows:

  • DAGNALL - Thursday 15th November 2007 7.30am until 11am
  • EDLESBOROUGH - 20th November 2007 7.30am until 11am
  • NORTHALL - Wednesday 21st November 2007 12noon until 3.30pm

Items the Freighter is not allowed to take were published in the August/September Focus.

Edlesborough Memorial Hall Bookings

Beverly Sage is the new Bookings Secretary and enquiries should be made to her on 01525 229509.

The Parish Council are very grateful to St. Mary’s Carnival Committee 2007 for their very generous donation towards the Cemetery Access Project.

The Parish Council agreed to support Safer Routes to School with funding for it’s application for a grant to improve safety conditions outside Edlesborough School and to implement a safer route for pedestrian children and cyclists along the existing Ivinghoe Aston to Edlesborough bridleway.

Additional bollards would be placed outside the Memorial Hall.

A complaint has been forwarded to Bucks County Council concerning the problems with School buses from Dagnall and Edlesborough taking pupile to Wing and Aylesbury schools.

A letter of apology has been received following an incident occurring at a recent Parish Council meeting.

A new ‘No Through Road’ sign incorporating a No Through Road symbol is to be erected at Chapel Lane, Northall.

A new Lease has been drawn up between the Parish Council and Edlesborough Tennis Club.

Several Councillors had attended the recent Police Surgery together with 4 parishioners. The Parish Council were disappointed in the non attendance of more local parishioners. The next Police Surgery will be taking place on Thursday 22nd November between 7.00pm and 8.00pm at Edlesborough Memorial Hall.
