Parish Council meeting– dates and venues

15th May 2014 Annual General Meeting commencing 7.30pm followed by Ordinary Parish Council Meeting at Edlesborough Memorial Hall

19th June 2014 Ordinary Parish Council Meeting commencing 7.30pm to be held at All Saints Church Hall, Dagnall

New Councillor

A vacancy has arisen for a Councillor to represent the village of Northall. Please contact the Clerk, Penny Pataky, for further details.

Current allotment plots available:

Allotments are currently available at The Green and Cow Lane. Please contact the Clerk if you would like to take on an allotment.

Streetlights

The damaged streetlight in Studham Lane, Dagnall is to be replaced.

Dog Fouling

The Council are purchasing a quantity of Dog Fouling posters and it is hoped that dog owners will take notice and clean up any deposits left by their dogs on the Green and around the numerous pavements/roads/public footpaths/bridleways etc. throughout the entire Parish. Dog bins are supplied at convenient positions and emptied at a considerable cost to the Council, and to parishioners as this is included within the annual Council Tax, so please will the offending owners please pick up and deposit in the appropriate bins and not cause nuisance and health risks to other parishioners.

Potholes and other responsibilities of Bucks CC.

An up to date list of outstanding works to be carried out has been sent to Bucks CC, which include railings at Dunstable Road, Dagnall, White Lining at the junction of Nelson Road/Dunstable Road, Dagnall, cutting back grass verges to widen pavements, bad condition of Kingsmead, Edlesborough and Chapel Lane, Northall, extensive potholes on the High Street, Edlesborough towards the county boundary and immediately at the end of Brook Street, hedge and tree trimming from the A4146 to Edlesborough along Pebblemoor, kerbstones in The Green, Edlesborough.
